What kind of new features would improve your laptop? Longer battery life perhaps, better graphics subsystem, lighter case? How about a nice colourful pattern made out of pieces of suede glued onto the case? According to this press release from Intel, that's exactly what people in today's 'image conscious culture' want from a portable computing device. We hear that MTV has already commissioned a new series of Pimp My Laptop, although if you prefer the desktop pimping scene, you might like to check out this site.

Laptops for fashion victims?............trend setters maybe!
I must admit that I like the idea of having a funky looking laptop. I like to think of my computer as my baby, therefore I want it to wear clothes and not get cold in these chilly winter months.
I think Gucci, Prada and for those of us who can only dream (me)...Topshop should get designing. I want seasonal prints and colours so that I can change the look of my laptop to suit my mood. This is a gap in the market that needs exploiting, if not only for those of us who are mad enough to buy into it (yes, me again!)
